Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Honor Kenya ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit honorkenya.ke or contact us about a product, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or messaging us on WhatsApp, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you give us directly — when you message us on WhatsApp to enquire about a phone, we receive your name (or WhatsApp display name), phone number, and the contents of your message, including the model and configuration you're interested in.
• Information collected automatically — like most websites, our site may use standard web server logs and basic analytics that record general details such as browser type, approximate location (city/country level), and pages visited. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
• Order and delivery details — if you proceed with a purchase, we may ask for delivery information such as your name, phone number, and physical address in order to fulfil the order.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your product enquiries and confirm pricing and stock availability
• Process and deliver orders you place with us
• Provide after-sales support, including warranty and returns assistance
• Improve our website and product listings
• Comply with our legal obligations under Kenyan law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. WhatsApp communication

Honor Kenya uses WhatsApp as our primary channel for product enquiries and order confirmation. When you message us on WhatsApp, your conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy and terms of service in addition to this policy. We retain WhatsApp conversation records for customer service and record-keeping purposes, including resolving disputes about orders, pricing, or warranty claims.

4. Sharing of information

We may share your information with:

• Delivery and courier partners, solely to fulfil and deliver your order
• Honor Device Co., Ltd. or its authorised service centres, where necessary to process a warranty claim or repair
• Regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where required by Kenyan law

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or mobile messaging platforms is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you and request a copy
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations
• Object to certain uses of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies

Our website may use basic cookies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality, but you will still be able to browse our product listings.

8. Children's privacy

Our products and services are intended for adults capable of entering into a purchase agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
